| Elizabeth Lindsay Elizabeth Lindsay grew up in Greenwich Village, New York, a haven for artists from different cultural backgrounds. Elizabeth began her creative career in interior and architectural design and worked as an interior designer for many years. In 1989, she decided to pursue her life’s dream of designing jewelry, and enrolled in the jewelry design program at the Fashion Institute of Technology, in Manhattan. Graduating with top honors, Elizabeth received the coveted Studio Design Award of the Year.
How It All Started Elizabeth sold her jewelry nationally for years to such places as Nieman Marcus and The Museum of Modern Art, and opened her own boutique located in Cherry Creek North, Denver, Colorado. She was honorably chosen to design the Race for the Cure 10 year commemorative pin for Denver. Her shop is known for its unique and rare gifts and Denver's 5280 magazine chose Elizabeth Lindsay Creations as one of the best gift shops in the Denver metropolitan area.
Her First Token Tags Token Tags were created by Elizabeth as her Mother was reaching the end of her battle with breast cancer. She became inspired to make jewelry that was not only beautiful, but also had a personal meaning. Three of the most exceptional women Elizabeth has known have had breast cancer, her two Aunts and her mother, therefore this is a cause she holds very dear to her heart. Also an avid animal lover, Elizabeth, soon after, decided to create a Token Tag to honor the memory of her beloved kitty "Justice" who was with her for 15 years. She has been creating heart warming Tags ever since.
